Midjimberry Road making beautiful music on Straddie
(29 August 2009)

What happens when the whisperings and essence of Minjerribah, Badu Island, Lebanon and Canada drift their way to the melting fusion pot of melody? Midjimberry Road.  A collection of three, sometimes more, music makers, Midjimberry Road is a delightful ensemble of stories, harmony and acoustic secrets.  Paula Boo, Clara Durbidge and JB (John Brown) weave their songlines together to create music that reflects their relationship with their ancestors, the oceans, the land and their cultures. Join them on their soulful journey and enjoy a magical ride along Midjimberry Road.

Catch them live in the Jazz Tent at the RedFest, Cleveland Showgrounds at 7pm on the 5th of September, and on the Jungle Stage at the Island Vibe Festival on the Point Lookout Oval on Saturday 31st of October at 3.05pm.
