Art Auction is on again!
(1 August 2010)

This wonderful event is a great opportunity to view and purchase work from some of Straddie’s highly respected artists and crafts people, also a chance to get a look at some of our up and coming talented young artists works.

Pieces include paintings, jewellery, fashion, sculpture and ephemeral arts projects. The evening will include complimentary food and wine, and entertainment and live music by local musicians.

The art auction is held at the Stradbroke Early Learning Centre, Ballows Rd Dunwich. All funds raised on the evening go towards building and educational projects in the centre, which provide creatively functional learning spaces for our Island kindergarten children.

We are grateful for the continued support and sponsorship given to us by our local community and businesses and this evening is as much about raising money as it is celebrating the coming together of our community in support of our children.

Please contact the Stradbroke Early Learning Centre on 3409 9093 to book on the free bus picking up from the water taxis on the evening, local bus services from Point Lookout and Amity will get you there on the night.

Previous artists involved include Alan McKinnon, Dixie Lambert, Joshua Walker, Belinda Close, Lisa Iselin, Stephen Liesegang, Sandy Okalyi, Brendon Coghill, and Brenda Papworth from the Coral Sea Gallery.
