Tony Bonner is in Trouble Down Under
(8 October 2010)

Tony is perhaps best remembered for his roles in Skippy, 'The Man from Snowy River, 'The Lighthorsemen' and the ANZACS, but he has featured in numerous movie, television and stage roles through his long and successful acting career, and has recently secured upcoming roles in four new Australian feature films.

Although Tony’s next major production will be voicing the animated feature, 'Trouble Down Under', when time permits he plans to continue to conduct film, TV and theatre workshops and classes locally in between filming commitments on The Killers List, 34th Battalion and 2nd Drill.  Tony has a long affiliation with Queensland, and is enthusiastic about the introduction of the new tourism product to the South East. “What a wonderful opportunity for people to visit this historically beautiful and culturally significant Island right on their doorstep,” he said.

In between filming engagements you will find him in his favourite place, at the beach. Tony has a great affinity with the ocean, and has been past president and an omnipresent member of the Manly Lifesaving Club in Sydney for much of his life, and enjoys taking patrols wherever he finds himself along the Australian coast.

Join Tony at the Dunwich Hall on the 8th of October at 7pm for 'The Actor's Journey' - an interactive, informal discussion that is a great opportunity to gain an insight into the Australian film and television industry based on his experiences throughout his forty year career as one of Australia's most successful working actors.
