An early tribute to recycling is the bottle wall. Cement powder was expensive and difficult to get to Point Lookout in the early to mid 1900's and what to do with the empty bottles was solved by this engineering masterpiece - the bottle wall. These structures can still be seen today in some old structures around the Point.
